Which way do you run?

Ever wonder what God thinks of you when you fail? When I blow it, I'm not eager to see the one I've disappointed.

In Luke 15, Jesus tells the story of a disappointing son. He's selfish. He's greedy. He's besmirched the family name. When he sees his father again, his father throws ... a punch? No; a party!

Here's the father explaining his response to the prodigal's older brother. It's Luke 15.4 (TNIV):
"But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found!"
If you've blown it, and you're avoiding your Heavenly Father, don't! The only thing that would disappoint him is if you stayed away.

We'd disappoint ourselves a lot less if every time we blew it, we ran into the arms of our forgiving Heavenly Father. He celebrates every single returning son.
